At Logistics sites, a large amount of documents such as picking lists, destination lists, and invoices, have been printed out every day, which incurs high printing costs. Companies want to reduce these costs, but are unable to implement adequate measures because the current situation is not understood.
Toshiba MFPs provide a function to count the number of printed documents by project code, in addition to counting by department and by user.
For example, the project code function can be assigned by document type such as picking lists and destination lists, which enables the number of printed documents to be compared with expected print counts to identify inefficiencies.
This function can also be assigned by purpose, by customer, and so on, according to your workflow to make it easier to identify waste of printing costs and make it easier to plan printing cost reductions.
