On the distribution frontlines, shippers normally hand out delivery destination lists for the day’s packages to their drivers, and the drivers then deliver the packages based on the content of the list, but there are many drivers and many delivery destinations, and printing and sorting destination lists is a major burden for the companies.
As an improvement measure, in recent years delivery destination lists have been digitized and sent to mobile devices, but there is still strongly rooted demand for delivery destination lists printed on paper because of the viewability and ease of handling of paper lists, which has been an issue.
Toshiba MFPs are compatible with wireless LAN environments as an option, so they can easily connect with mobile devices as well. This allows shippers to send the delivery destination lists, etc. to mobile terminals and the drivers to print out the lists by an MFP as necessary, which makes it convenient for drivers while reducing office work and costs.
Toshiba MFPs support Wi-Fi Direct, which means printing using an MFP is possible from mobile devices. MFPs can be connected to mobile devices directly without going through an internal company network, so there is no risk of internal networks being infiltrated.
In addition, our MFPs support print functions such as AirPrint® and Mopria®, so you can print from various types of mobile devices.
